Bintan 26th January 2023. The international sailing boat race will be held at Bintan Resorts. Jointly Organized by Bintan Resort Cakrawala and Changi Sailing Club 1st Bintan Regatta 2023 will be scheduled from Friday 27th January to 30th January 2023 with the following schedule at Grand Lagoi Hotel :
Friday, 27 th January Depart CSC 1000hrs Arrive at BBT, Bintan 1500hrs Welcome Dinner 1800hrs
Saturday, 28 th January Skipper’s Briefing 0900hrs Racing (Race 1, 2 & 3) 1200hrs (First Warning)
Sunday, 29 th January Racing (Race 4, 5 & 6) 1200hrs (First Warning) Prize award presentation & Closing Party
There will be about 10 sails boats will be around during 2 days sail however A maximum of 6 races are scheduled for this regatta. There's no limit to the number of races that may be sailed each day.
Meanwhile Jong a miniature sailing ship a type of ancient sailing ship in colorful ship sail will have an exhibition at Lagoi Beach on 29th January 2023 as part of 1st Bintan Regatta 2023 a showcase of Malay local community in Riau Islands
